Why We Love Star Wars Countdown 5 Days left

Todays we love Star Wars VIDEO GAMES

Last year at the Greenville book fair I found the Wii game Lego Star Wars the complete saga.  So we started playing it and Rex (of course) fell in love with it.  The game covers all 6 movies so there was a lot of game play.  Rex liked to watch us at first but then he started playing a lot on his own.  (what can I say he is the child of 2 gamers).  It really has been a fun thing to all do together to try and get all the gold bars and beat all the levels and get the secrets too.  Some are pretty easy and some we were going to YouTube too find out how to beat the levels.  Then we got a Lego Clone wars Wii game for him at Easter.  He enjoyed it too but it was a bit more difficult and he needed our help a lot to play it.  Grant likes to have an extra controller and pretend he is playing too.

This year for Christmas Rex's #1 thing on his Christmas list is the new Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars game.  I did quite a bit of research on the Disney Infinity games to find out if we were ready for it and everything I read says they are great family games and lots of fun.  So of course he doesn't know it yet but he will be getting the game for Christmas.  (and I have to admit Im pretty excited to play through it with him too!)  The way the Disney Infinity games work is you buy the game but then they have all these Characters that you buy separate that you can scan into the game and play with.  Plus the figurines are pretty cool to have.

Daddy even gets in on the Star Wars gaming.  His Christmas present this year was a new PS4 (we got it on black friday deals and I already let him have it) He was excited about the new Star Wars Battlefront game.  The graphics and detail are pretty amazing.  They really make some of the Star Wars worlds come to life.


On December 18th (premiere day of The Force Awakens!!) they are going to be releasing a new levels for Disney Infinity and also new Characters that will be about the Force Awakens game.  Which is even more reason to look forward to the big premiere day!!

(sorry this is a day late getting up.  I was on my death bed with food poisoning or flu yesterday! ugh)
