Star Wars The Force Awakens 1 day till the Premiere

With only 1 day left till the premier I've saved the best for last.  The #1 way we love to enjoy Star Wars is by WATCHING THE MOVIES!!!

Finally about February we decided it was time to show the boys the movies.  We of course started where it all began with episode 4: A New Hope.  I have to admit with Rex already knowing so much about it and all the build up to actually watching a real movie I was a little nervous when he saw the real thing he might be let down or not actually like it as much as he thought he would.  I dont know why I was worried of course he loved every minute of it.  It was really fun to watch it with him because he kept saying what was going to happen next and loved seeing it all play out.  It wasn't long before we had watched episode 5 and 6.  We weren't sure about the newer trilogy because it had a few more intense themes and things going on.  We did let them watch episode 1 because it it probably the most kid friendly of all the movies.  So that's where we are at right now he has seen 4 of the 6.  He asks often about the other 2.  I've told him maybe we can do Episode 2 for his birthday.
this was when we let the boys watch their first official Star Wars movie.  (episode 4: A New Hope)
There are also a whole host of kid spin off shows the boys like to watch.  Lego's: The Padawan Menace, The Empire Strikes Out, Yoda Chronicles, and Droid Tales.  Also Disney's show Star Wars Rebels, and The Clone Wars (which Rex would like to watch more of but we limit to a few select episodes we have pre-screened, its a little darker)

Of course Rex wants to see the new movie as much as we do, and honestly I want him to be able to see it too.  But we're going to have to screen it first and find out if its ok or not.  Here's hoping it is!!
