Star Wars: The Force Awakens Countdown 6 days Till the Premiere!!

 Today's way we love Star Wars in Star Wars FIGHTER PODS.  What?  You've never heard of fighter pods?  It's ok.  They are a funny kind of toy we discovered a $5 Below and have only ever seen at a few other discount stores like TJ Maxx and Here Today, and Tuesday Morning.

We were ruining Rex's vision of a big castle by making him share the magna tiles

Each figures has a little pod he can fit in and then you can launch them at each other.  They ships are launchers also you can spin them like a top and they can knock each other over.  The boys liked them because you get lots of little figures in every pack and lots of good guys and bad guys. Rex likes them because the characters you get are a lot of the ones from the Clone Wars series, which has a lot of his favorite characters like General Grievous and Cad Bane, and Capt. Rex.  I liked them because they are cheap to buy, and they are teeny tiny so you can have a lot and they all fit in a little bucket.  I dont know if they sell them anymore?  It was kind of a 2014 thing we found.

They were fun on car trips cause you could take the little bucket and have a bunch of guys to play with in your seat or in a restaurant.  One of the boys favorite ways to play with them is with these magna tiles we have.  They are these magnetic shapes you can connect and build stuff with.  The micro fighters go in them, on them, and all around them.  We get it all out every couple of weeks (in our toy rotation) and the boys will play with them all afternoon.

Tip: If you're ever missing a fighter pod check all the couch cushions there are usually 1 or 10 in there.
