Today's Star Wars highlight is Star Wars Army Men! Sure everybody has your standard army men but now you can get Army Men that look like all your favorite Star Wars characters! Count us in!

I don't think these actually did very well in sales, because I saw them advertised and promoted at Toys R Us one month and within about 2 months they were all on clearance and in the dollar stores. So that's when we decided to add some to our Star Wars collection. Rex got a bigger set around his birthday and then used some money he earned a few times to get a couple other set. You get a lot of people in every set usually a mix of good guys and bad guys and some ships too so it doesn't take long to have a good line up of guys to do battle with. They are a pretty good quality plastic mold so they have a nice weight to them and stand up nicely.

One day we had the building blocks out and Rex started adding his Star Wars guys to the scene. It made the blocks a lot more fun and it was neat to see all the places the boys would place the characters. Now they kinda go hand in hand if we have blocks out we also have the star wars army men out.
