Star Wars Episode VI: The Force Awakens 3 Days till Premiere

3 MORE DAYS!!!

Today we are going to highlight Playskools Galactic Heroes Star Wars toys.  These are one of our earliest and favorite Star Wars toys (wait do I say that everyday?)

It all started when Rex was 3 Grant only 1we were getting ready for our first big big road trip to Florida to visit the McQuaid crew.  I was wanting to get some new little toys for Rex to play with in the car to keep him busy and happy that I could give him along the way.  I found this set of Star Wars characters that was kind of a starter set of people. They looked like they'd be great because they didn't have any pieces to lose and they were big and bulky for little hands.  So I got it.  Rex loved it and pretty much took those guys everywhere with him for a long time.  One day we were playing at Grandma Cindy's house and he had taken them there with him.  Mom's cleaning lady ( a mother of 3 boys herself) saw him playing with those characters and played a little with him too I think.  Next time she was at moms cleaning she showed up with a whole container of the playskool figures that her boys weren't playing with anymore.  That was seriously the most amazing gift!  We have loved those guys.

Over the years we have picked up a few more characters here and there.  Last year Rex got the Millennium Falcon for his Birthday and Grant used some special fun money one time to get the Hoth Wampa set.  About the only thing we dont have that they boys want is the AT-AT walker. There was a good sale on it over black friday but by the time I got there they were all sold out.  Oh well I think we go enough other Star Wars stuff to keep us busy.
