YELLOWSTONE! day 1

We entered the park by the North entrance and entered the first section of the park, Mammoth Hot Springs. Some of the hot springs are still active, some are dormant, and the features literally change from day to day as new springs can develop all the time.

No this isn't fog...this is the amount of steam coming off Canary hot springs all the time....ahhh the sweet smell of rotten eggs

A view from the top...you can see all the board walks we could walk on and see all the thermal features.

This is a video I shot of an active Paint Pot or Mud pot. They were so wierd I loved them, and if you turn the volume up you can hear the plop plop noises it makes.
