Well we did have to go home eventually but we managed to have some fun and see some more sites along the way. Our first stop was the Grand Tetons, which borders Yellowstone to the south.

We drove up a the side of a moutain and had some lunch and then enjoyed the amazing view before getting in the car and driving all the way to Ft. Collins, CO by the end of the day.

One last pic as we drove down the mountain:

Next we spent a day in Colorado springs, The garden of the gods, a movie, and the Cave of the Winds tour:

Finally we went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado springs. It is supposed to be the only mountain zoo in the US. Our favorite part was feeding the giraffes. They would stick their tounges way out and take the crackers.

THE END! (I could tell you all about the excitement of driving throught Eastern Colorado and Western Kansas but you dont deserve that! so well just end it in Colorado Springs.)

Oh, Beth! The pictures are fantastic!!!! I've looked at them all. The buffalo are my favorite. I couldn't believe the noises they made. The quality of the pictures is amazing and the sound is good too. Ok, so when are you going to start working for a post card company? haha MOM
Who knew that giraffe's tongues were black???? Mom
What about the great aviation museum in Pueblo? That was great! The guy at the front desk was an original B-24 crewman. So what if the airplanes had a little rust on 'em.
You have way too much fun! I'm so glad you got to go and have a good time! I'm jealous!
