Pics from around the park

We did see some Elk in the park grazing one evening. It is a little hard to see that the little spots across the river are actually Elk. If you click and blow up the picture you can kinda tell.

This is the impressive gate into Yellowstone at the north entrance of the park.



Then your standard national park service sign at the entrance to the park.



This was a heard of Elk that has apparently taken up residence in the Mamoth Hot Springs area in the park. They had several park rangers who it seemed was their full time job to make sure people dont get to close to them.
