Will was on vacation the several days before during and several day after Memorial day and while Rex did have a 4 day weekend off school we just hung around home and had a good Staycation. We did something different everyday and had lots of good family time. I took a lot of pics so I though I would do a separate post from May for all of them. With out further ado here are a few highlights:

Friday we headed City Museum in St. Louis. What is City Museum you ask? I always say its hard to describe City you just have to go for yourself. Its like a cross between a playground, a old factory, a artist that went crazy with re-bar and a welding machine, and a museum. Will and I went several years back on a date day so we knew what to expect. I've thought for a while the boys would like it but you really need a 1:1 kid to adult ratio. The whole place is things to climb up, and in, and through and they rarely come out where they started. Sometimes they can end up on a completely different floor. It would be great to take a bunch of jr. highers and say meet back here at this time and them them go crazy but with a 4 and 6 years old you want to stick close. Grant was a little nervous at first because a lot of it is dimly lit and a lot of the climbing is on metal bars and it made him kinda nervous to see below him and think he might fall through the bar holes. He warmed up pretty quick and several hours later when Mom and Dads knees and backs had had about all they could take for one day the boys were just warming up to it all. It was a good first visit and I'm sure we will be back sometime, the boys are already planning it. (we'd love to take some cousins with us sometime!)
