Bubble Bus, and swim lessons

Our Library puts on fun kids programs about once a week during the summer for kids.  If I'm honest we don't go to many of them.  There are only so many cheesy jokes, silly songs, or bad magic tricks I can handle.  But our favorite event they do at the end of the summer is the BUBBLE BUS!  What is a bubble bus you ask.....

A bus that packs a boatload of bubbles, music and and hour of fun.

the white bubbles have fog inside of them.  When you pop them the fog poofs out its really neat.

We've been doing Swim Lessons in Greenville for the past 2 weeks (5 lessons total).  The boys are both pretty comfortable in the water now but had never had any lessons.  Rex especially was really ready for some guidance and direction.  

Grandma set up a rock painting party before one of our lessons.  The 2 neighbor boys in Greenville came, and we also brought Ezra with us.

 Grant is still very cautious in the water but he did learn to jump in (with someone to catch him) without any floaties, and he even did some bobs by the end of his lessons which was huge for him, he used to Hate getting his face wet at all and had never held his breath under water.

Rex improved by leaps and bounds.  He learned several front and back stokes, how to tread water, and even some of the beginning techniques for diving.  He was able to swim across the pool from one end to the other with a free style stroke by the end of his lessons.
