| My personal product collection is growing! |
After the last 2 review you may be wondering how many more meals there are to make, the short answer is A TON! I'm just getting my feet wet!
Let's review what the Stars mean: I'm rating it on a 4 (technically 5) star rating system. 1-yuck never again. 2-OK but probably wont make again, 3-above average good eats, 4-delicious we all loved it and will definitely make again. And a 5 Star rating to ones that we just Loved and are new family favorites. Please leave a comment and let me know what sounded good.

Hawaiian Style Country Ribs with Sweet Potato Wedges: 4 Stars. The ribs just fell apart and had a good Asian kinda flavor. Boys both ate it up. I also tried the suggested Sweet Potato Wedges which were seasoned with Blazn' Buffalo Spice. I was worried they would be way to spicy for any of us but Will. But it was a light little kick. The boy actually both had several bites before they noticed any heat. They were pretty good and a different way for us to cook sweet potatoes so they are getting 3 Stars.

Honey Hoisin Chicken Wraps: 4 Stars These were super easy to throw in the crock pot then shred the chicken a few hours later, I also made the suggested coleslaw that used Wildtree's Apple Balsamic Vinegar. They were to be served in wraps or pita pockets. We thought it would be fun to try pita pockets but I probably wouldn't do that again they kept splitting in the middle and were kinda hard to open up to put the food in. Anyway back to the review we all really enjoyed these. The slaw really complimented the chicken perfect and made it all delicious. The boy liked just the chicken and the cheese in there little pockets.

Beef Enchilada Stew: 3 Stars I made this on our very busy first day back from our Dallas trip so it was really nice to be able to throw this in the crock pot and not think about it again until dinner time. I think I liked it best of all in the family. It definitely had yummy enchilada flavors and I also enjoyed it because it was full of mushrooms and squash (which I wouldn't eat just by there selves) and they were really good in the soup. Next time I would probably use better steak, it was quite chewy but I can't blame Wildtree for that. Anyway Rex liked it okay and ate quite a bit. Grant wouldn't try it, because he suffers from a disease called 3, and Will ate it politely like a good husband but said it was just ok. (note: this recipe was not from the One Stop Crock workshop)

Gourmet Java Burgers: 4 Stars I have wanted to try these burgers for a while because they were one of the 4 choices to pick from at the mops presentation when I learned about Wildtree. They are the most loaded up burgers I've ever had. onions, feta cheese, bread crumbs, eggs, 2 Wildtree seasonings, they were stuffed. Also they were made with half beef and half ground turkey. Will liked them the most, and I wasn't too far behind. The boys didn't have any because they opted for hotdogs, actually I think Grant just opted for french fries :( Anyway they were good re-heated for quite a few lunches afterwards too. Next time I might try blue cheese for Will and change the bread crumbs.

| Ranch Turkey Breasts and Ranch Mashed Potatoes: 2.5 and 4 Stars First of all I didn't even know you could buy just Turkey Breasts at the store but they were super easy to find at Walmart. We really liked the Ranch flavor in the dish. Our main complaint was that the Turkey Breasts were kinda dry and needed salt, although I put the left overs in a container with all the juice from the crockpot and I think they kinda absorbed some of that juice and actually seemed better left over. (if I made this again I think I would use Chicken). The Ranch Mashed Potatoes were really delicious. They were very easy to make and were really good with paired with the Turkey. The boys both ate this dish well too. Will liked it but wished we had gravy. |

| Spanish Style Garlic Shrimp with Quick Spanish Rice: 3 and 2 Stars I've had this one on the "to try" list for a long while but kept pushing back to the bottom of the list every week. Partly because I have never cooked with Shrimp before (although I really like it) and partly because I wasn't sure anyone besides me would eat it (so I was waiting till I had lots of left overs as back up in the fridge). It was really easy to grill up stove and to my surprise everyone ate it. Rex and Grant both said they loved it and ate all their shrimp. Will politely ate his serving, he's not a shrimp guy but said it wasn't too bad. Quick Spanish Rice: The rice was super easy you just threw some white rice, a can of diced tomatoes, and some Wildtree seasonings in a pan and let is simmer for 20 mins. It was a little bland though for my taste, it did go well with the shrimp but next time I would try to spice it up or just try another recipe. I don't know if we will make this one again or not but I will definitely be cooking with shrimp again in the future! |
 |
| Apple Balsamic Pork: 3 Stars This was super easy to dump in the crockpot and cook. I reused the left over mashed potatoes from the Ranch Turkey Breasts meal, steamed some veggies and we had a meal. They boys both at it well, and Will and I liked it too. We had a lot left over and my only complaint was I didn't like it as well the 2nd time, but it still got eaten. |
 |
| Enchilada Pork Tacos: 4.5 Stars This one was yum-yum-yummy! I made the suggested marinated onions, which just required that I slice up a red onion and then squeeze a while lime out and let it marinate for about 30 minutes before we ate. They were really, really, really good on top!! They both but liked them with just the meat and cheese, in fact Grant has eaten 3 time for left overs, and Will and I both really enjoyed all the flavors! The only thing I would change if I made it again was next time I would buy more onions and more lime, because we went through them so fast. |
Here I was sorting out an order. I had a Workshop at Moms with my Aunt Cathy and my Cousins wife Laura, We did the Get Your Grill on Workshop, I also got product to make the meals in the Everyday Meals and Comfort Foods workshops (many reviews to come!)

| Sweet and Sour Kielbasa Kabobs: 5 Stars A picture of this recipe has been taunting me on the cover of the new spring product catalog insert. Its made with Turkey Kielbasa, yellow peppers and 1 Red onion, then you just Grill it and brush it with Wildtree's New Sweet and Sour Sauce when they are done. Will and I really enjoyed it, and for the boys we just gave them the kielbasa slices, which they both enjoyed too. Next time we make this (not if we make this again but when we make it again) I might double it, because we ate it all in one meal. (Note: this recipe was not from the One Stop Crock Workshop) |

 |
| Buffalo Chicken Sliders: 3.5 Stars These were made with Wildtree's Blazn' Buffalo Dip so I was expecting them to be pretty zippy. I wasn't sure if the boys would be able to eat them. So to my disappointment and happiness they weren't hot at all. I honestly kinda wanted a little bit of zip and knew Will would really like that, but I guess it was nice that they were pretty sweet actually and the boys both enjoyed them. If I make them again, which I probably will because I have a lot of the dip mix left I will probably go a little heavier on the seasoning next time. |
The Buffalo Sliders were my last meal from the One Stop Crock Workshop. Most of them I have reviewed on this entry (a few I didn't because they were repeat meals that I had previously reviewed-the lasagna and the Ranch Chicken Chili). Over all this was a really good workshop, as I look back over the meals I don't there were any we didn't like at all, some more than others obviously. I really love the ease of the the crockpot recipes. I will probably remake many of these recipes in the future! Which one looked the best to you? Did you notice I'm trying to work on my food photography, I think I'm improving some.
