It was a fun fast get together for all of us this time. The McQuaid crew arrived first and left last. The Rowlands were there for most of it, however I was MIA for about 3 days in the middle with a bad fever, and The Stahr crew was there for not quite 48 hours. So we really only had Sunday evening and Monday all together. The kids had a blast together and the adults all enjoyed catching up as well.
Grandma is Happy
Our fun event for Monday was a kids vs dads (which was only Papa Rex and Uncle Aaron) water fight. The big kids especially had a lot of fun.
prepare to get wet!
kids had water guns dads got hoses. But with 9 to 2 odds it was pretty fair.

Tuesday night the McQuaids and the Rowlands got to walk in the papa to help support Papa Rex for Circuit Clerk. The kids had fun helping pass out necklaces and still got to see a bunch of the parade when we were done walking in it. They was time for some rides too.

Thursday evening I was finally feeling a bit better and we were able to have a double rowland/McQuaid date. We took them to Aries Restaurant up on the bluffs in Grafton. Beautiful view and great company! We enjoyed some Bobby's frozen custard on the way home too!
twins!
Friday we ventured over to Fairview for Cahokia Mounds, Chickfila, and Monkey Joes. Then we said good by to the McQuaid crew before they left the next day. It was a great visit. It wont be long and we will all be together again for Christmas!

I wanted to do a little interview with all the kids while they were all there. So I worked them all in over the 2 days they were there and have spent quite a bit of time editing and putting it all together. Part of the reason I wanted to do it was to learn more about my photoshop elements video editing software. I definitely learned a lot and probably had a bit too big of a project for my first video editing ever but it was fun and I hope you enjoy the video. Just a warning it is a bit long so be ready to have about half and hour to devote to it and turn the volume up so you can hear all the cute answers. Any comments or advice are welcome. I hope to do more of this in the future. (** also an update I added close captioning so when you are watching the video you can push the CC button on the bottom right to turn it on and off.)
