As they say "All good things must come to an end." That is kinda what August always feels like to me. The end of summer, the end of vacations, the end of sleeping in, the end of no schedule or places to be. There is plenty to look forward to and enjoy about fall, but first you have to get through August.

You already saw all my pics from the first week of the month in Greenville with the fam. The second week of August we spend getting over our coughs and fevers, going back to school shopping, and doing laundry. The third week almost everyone in the area had gone back to school but we still had one more week before Rex started Kindergarten. We checked off a few more back to school things like haircuts and new shoes and one more sleep over at Grandmas then it was time for open house and school! The last week of August we all adapted to our new way of life for the next 9 months. Dropping Rexie off at 8:20 for the day and Daddy going to get him at 2:45. He is adjusting pretty well. He tells us they have 3 recesses, rest time, snack time, lunch, and sometimes get to watch a show. Grant will start preschool 2 days a week form 9:40-1 the first Tuesday in September.

| Mom got me this cool old type tray and with inspiration from pinterest I turned it into a place to display Rex's Lego Star Wars minifigures. It is hanging right above his couch in his room now. |
