Will and Beth:
Will had a pretty normal month at work. He almost had 2 ILEAS call outs already but for one he was at the station getting ready and they called it off because the suspect surrendered. The other one we were in Greenville and he didn't even know about it till it was over. But he was able make it to the 2 day training this month and he also is starting to get some of the gear and things he needs. (next month we will be on vacation and miss training). He also decided to trade in his motorcycle (which never gets ridden) for a new Assault rifle. He's happy to have a new toy and Im happy to have the motorcyle out of the garage taking up space. (if we can sell it) win. win.
This has been a great month for me. I had a great day on my birthday and on mother day. Rex's preschool did a really sweet mothers day luncheon which happen to be on my birthday. Rex was very sweet at it and it was a lot of fun to see how much he and the other 4 year olds have grown and all they have done this year. I cant believe preschool is over for Rex already his last day was the 15th. I got my garden all tilled up and planted for the year. this year there are 2 tomato plants, 1 cherry tomato plant, 2 peppers, 1 jalapeno, and in the herb garden I got a new sage plant and rosemary, plus many of the herbs came back from last year. Im still hoping to get some basil in there and some cilantro. The raspberries were blooming some this month so we should have raspberries soon. I started a 30 day fitness bootcamp with some of other ladies in my MOPs group, lead by a beach body coach. It just started on the 18th, im hoping it will help me be stronger and faster in my running. Right now its just making me sore and tired. Will and I are both starting to amp up our running at the end of this month and all next month for our big Chicago Half Marathon in July.

The Stahrs Family was here for a week because Annie was the maid of honor in her best friend since like forevers wedding. We had to work our visiting in around Rex's last week of preschool but still got some good quality time in with the cousins.

Rex:
On the 15th preschool finished up for Rex and he is loving summer break but he has already started asking me how long till kindergarten starts all the time. When things are wild and boys are making me crazy this summer Im going to try and remember to treasure this time before I have to send him off to school all day every day.

GRANT:
One the 1st of the month we started potty training boot camp with Grant. The first day I was positive and encouraging and there were quite a few accidents. On the second day I was positive and a bit weary of all the accidents, on the 3rd day I thought of quitting and was doubtful, then he starting to get it and we started getting almost all of it in the potty all day. And he has just gotten better and better. I was worried he would digress when we went to grandma and grandpas for the cousin visit but he continued to do great while we were there. We have even transitioned from pull ups for short outings to under wear for most outing. We still have some work to do to have no accidents all day every day but he is doing great, Im so proud of him. (and he is quite happy with himself too.)
Im finishing up the May post a little early this month because we are heading off on vacation for the last week of the month so I will be covering that separately. First off Will and I are going to go to the Indianapolis 500 will Papa Rex then we are all heading to Emporia for a few days on the farm. Yea summer!
