March 24, 2013. It was going to be a busy Sunday at the Rowland house. Will had a race in St. Louis to run in, I had church with the boys then home for lunch and hopefully good naps. Then we planned to have Grandma and Grandpa come over and babysit so Will and I could go out for dinner to celebrate Wills birthday a little early. However mother nature had other plans for us.....like 9.5 inches of snow. The race got cancelled, we got all dressed up for church but decided to be safe and stay home, and our quiet night out was postponed. Despite all the foiled plans we had a good family day at home. We shoveled snow, went sledding, ate tomato soup and grilled cheese for lunch, had candy canes and hot chocolate after playing in the snow, Will and I even had a photo contest to capture the snow fall, overall it was a great snow day in March.
