Goodbye twos

Lets see what can I say about Rex's 2 to sum them up?  They were Terrible!  Ok no not really, I will get back to summing them up later but first a picture for every month.  Wow its funs to look back at pictures of when he turned 2 and think about all that has happened in the last year.  Rex became a big brother, we moved to our "new house" as Rex still calls it, he talked, and talked, and talked until he mastered the English language!, we successfully potty trained, he moved into a big boy bed, we've had many many meltdowns, tantrums, and loads of drama and tears but we've also had many many tickle fights, laughs, chases around the house, hours and hours of pushing on the swing, hugs, kisses, and cuddling.

Some thoughts on Mr Rex William Rowland:  he is so smart he'll probably be smarter than me soon, he's super funny, very silly, often shy, a momma's boy, a picky eater, he has a great memory, he loves to sing, he loves to tag along, he loves a good snack, he is a great sleeper....once you can get him to sleep, he loves to hear stories, he wants to be in control of everything, he has an awful temper (Will and I cant figure out where he got it from...and dont ask either of our moms their opinion), he loves to draw (scribble) and color, he loves to watch shows on the ipad, and in the van, he loves reading especially new books, he is still wearing 24 month clothes and all his summer clothes from last summer are still going to fit for this summer, he has a great imagination, he is very stubborn about trying anything new when it comes to food, he will meltdown at the drop of a hat, he loves Millie dog, when he gets hurt he gets mad!!, he still sucks his thumb and I love it!, he always wants to rub my hair when he sucks his thumb and I dont always love that, he talks ALL the time...in fact if I cant hear him talking I get worried about what he might be into, he has the ability to make me happy, sad, worried, annoyed, proud, silly, and tired all in the same five minutes of play, he is crazy healthy this kid has still never had an antibiotic or been really sick, he loves a good episode of Veggie Tales, he loves to play trains, he says the same prayer every single night before bed, "dear God, Thank you for Mommy and Daddy, and God. Amen.", he loves to play outside, he loves to find a good hiding place for hide and seek and then hide there 20 times in a row, he loves those applesauce grabbers, he is amazingly good at using my phone and the ipad, he has the amazing ability to hear a word or phrase once and then later use it correctly, he is very dramatic, he asks me "Why" and "Whats that" more times a day than I can count, he would be completely happy if I served pop tarts and OJ for breakfast, pbj and a juice box for lunch, and easy mac and cheese for dinner everyday.   I think I could go on and on for pages, but Ill stop.  Rex is learning and growing and changing everyday two has definitely been a wild ride and now look out three's ready or not here we come!
