Wow its hard to believe Grant is 1 and its hard to imagine our family with out him. Grant is easy going, happy, chubby cheeked, a good eater, a great nurser, becoming a great all night sleeper, determined, loves to study things and figure out how they work, loves being outside, will nap if there is nothing better to do, loves watching his brother and hates when he takes things from him, and my sweat heart baby boy!
We had a simple family party for Grant over Easter. He got to have his own cupcake to do what ever he wanted with. He didn't actually eat very much of it. He squished a lot if it and then after a few minutes of that he became very angry about the whole thing and started a slew of angry babble I have never heard out of him. I dont know if he didn't like being so dirty, he didn't like everyone staring at him, or he was just over tired from a big Easter morning. Anyway he was wisked away to be washed up and was asleep almost as soon as we were in a dark room. It ended up a good thing that we did his party early, poor guy got sick on his birthday and had a 102 temp all day and ended up having a double ear infection. And then ended up being allergic to his medication and got a rash all over his body. I feel awful 1 hasn't been very much fun for Grant yet. Hopefully we can get the right medicine and get healthy and Grant will see how much fun being 1 is soon.
