Grant loves his tractor

Grant Edward, G, Grant-E., G-bee, Bubba, G-bers, G-man, and Baby Grant (Rex's personal favorite and usually it comes out as "NO BABY GRANT NO!") just a few of the many nick names Grant has these days.  Grant is continuing his progress on becoming more and more mobile.  This month he started using a walker and also walking with only the assistance of our fingers.  He is also becoming a speedy crawler.  I have a video below of him using his tractor to walk across the room.  It makes him very happy to get from point A to point B while walking.  Another big area of progress for me was weaning Grant of his one and sometimes two middle of the night feedings.  The first couple of nights were a little ruff getting used to the change but Daddy really stepped in and help go rock him back to sleep instead of me.  We have kinda worked on it a little all month but now he is consistently sleeping all night long.  Yay Grant!  And finally the last area of big advances this month is in self feeding!  He is picking up all kinds of things off his tray now and feeding them to himself.  He is also starting to eat some new and different textured food.  We are still doing mostly mashed foods but more and more we are adding in finger foods.  Like crackers, toast, cooked carrots, sweet potato bites, strawberries, and grapes just to name a few.

Here is a video I shot early on in the month of Grant using his tractor as a walker.  It was actually the first day that I saw him doing it.  I especially wanted Grandma Kay to see this one.  And dont look to closely at Rexie, we were in the middle of pantsless potty training when I shot this.

I realized today that I haven't really taken many pictures this month so I did a quick photo shoot....
