Enjoying the sunshine and warmer days.
Grant has 2 snails, they are pretty fun to watch crawl all over the tank. They are named two face and Goldie
The boys enjoyed listening to Dad read the ultimate tongue twister Fox in Socks on Dr. Seuss Day
So I competed in a sprint Triathlon at our Rec (my first ever) and ended up winning best in my age, and top womens over all. Which was a huge surprise. I it was fun to have a challenge all winter training working on my swimming and biking skills.
Grant's glad to have his hammock out again on these sunny days!
this was towards the beginning of the month, it was exciting to see all the tiny buds on the bushes in the woods.
My lil buddy turned 2 this month!!!
The Stahr's came to Gville for their Spring Break, (the boys were still in school that week) we got together with them for dinner and then they came to our house to spend their last night in Illinois on Friday, it was a really good visit.......
and then the whole world blew up.....
that day school got cancelled, and social distancing began, and everyone raided the grocery stores.....
and then began our new way of life:
(this is a journal entry I had Rex write on the 1st day of home schooling)
Schooling from home here we go....
Before we got the shelter in place order the boys and I made a weekend trip to Greenville, knowing it might be our last for a while. Mom taught us all how to Alcohol paint.
Church from home....
a short morning snow shower.
my happy window to look out
Grant has really been enjoying reading the dogman books on his own.
Rex helped Grant with his story for the week
Yay! Will's Birthday!!
hiking in the woods
Every year the library had a contest where you can create diaramas using Peeps. It is really fun to see what people come up with. Grant wanted to do one this year. Since no one can get out any more they are having people send in pictures this year. Grant did a Minecraft/Peepcraft display.
So on to April we go sheltering-in for the entire month and several big birthdays to celebrate!
