A Quarantined Birthday

Grant turned 8!! YAY!!!   but we are on lock down....BOO.

We made the best of it and I think Grant had a pretty fun full day of Celebration.

Grant goes to bed for the last time as a 7 year old!

Good morning!  Home made donuts at Grant's request were ready and waiting for him when he woke up!!

Grant opened a lego set in the morning, he built it all by his self (he doesn't need or want my help any more. :( )

A very cool jet!!
(Grant worked extra extra hard on school work the day before so he wouldn't have to do any on his birthday!....a definite perk of schooling from home.)

At lunch time we went to pick up Grant's Cake and also got some lunch!

the afternoon started to feel a little long waiting for Dad to get home.....so he could open presents.  So we tried to stay busy outside (it was a gorgeous day). Sure enough Dad pulled in right as we were finishing our chalk work.

Grant had to work hard to find all the $$ in the package from Grandma Kay and Grandpa Jerry.

Grant picked a Oreo Blizzard Ice Cream Cake from Dairy Queen!!

Grant's big present this year was a 4 person laser tag set!  Especially considering we are confined to at home activities this was the perfect gift!  We have been having a lot of fun with it already!!

A few other gifts!

Thank you Krous Fam!

Thank You Stahr Fam!

Thank You Fairchild Fam!

a giant water thermos from Mommy ;)
