December...2016 That's a Wrap

December has flown by!  With 3 Christmas programs for Rex, 1 for Grant, Advent Calendars, Gingerbread houses, Polar Express, Santa, The way of Lights, wrapping presents, 3 family Christmases.  It's definitely fun to have kids this time of year.

The boys on day 1 of their lego advent calendars.  We also did our daily readings of the Christmas story again this year

our gingerbread house before
The boys and I had lots of fun making Gingerbread houses at the Library.  They provided everything for us, we will definitely do it again next year.

Sometimes it's nice to let someone else read them a book...

Rex's School program.  Can you spot him? He is looking right at me.

A few days after his Christmas program they had a 1st Grade Parents breakfast at school we all got to attend. (he's front row middle)

Grant's preschool program.  I didn't really get a good shot of the whole stage.  He is grabbing the mic here for his line. "They finally rested in a stable"
Will had to work the 23rd, 24th, 25th so we had our family Christmas on the the 22nd when Rex got out of school.  It was a fun time.

I think they boys liked what was in the box

I put the boys to work helping me make peanut butter cookies

On Christmas day Mom, Dad and Grandma Lois come over to our house for presents and brunch.  This is the only picture I took.  I would feel bad but I just really enjoyed the morning and being present and not worrying about pictures and poses I guess.  The day after Christmas we went to Greenville over night.  Will, Dad, and I (finally) got to go see Rogue One (we got iced out on opening weekend) and the boys had fun with new toys and the house.

We enjoyed a few lazy days at home (and Will at work) before we headed off to Kansas for Round 2 of Christmas family fun.
Grant and I had fun feeding cows with Grandpa.....Bell thought we were in her spot

Rex in the Hay loft

All 6 Rowland Grandkids.  We all had fun meeting baby Chloe and teaching her about Rowland Holidays.

Rex had fun one evening playing peek a boo with Chloe
