Rex is in the front row on the left side, (stripped sweater)
At the beginning of October I saw in the bulletin at church that kids 1st-8th could practice to be in the Adult Choir's Christmas program. I asked Rex if he wanted to try it because he has usually loved singing in any school programs. So we went to the first practice to try it out and he was hooked. They gave us a CD to listen to, and we really all kinda got hooked on the songs over the last couple of months. The program was last Sunday and it was SO good! I video'd it at the 1st service with my phone (they preformed at all 3 services), and then with my nice camera in the evening. My phone recording turned out so good, the picture was good, the sound was great (better than my nice camera) only one catch....you can hear me singing along. (AAHH why did I do that!) So the recordings are mix of the 2 services. You will be able to tell which service the video is from by how squirrely the kids in the front row are, as the day went on they got wigglier and wigglier. Enjoy!
"What a Glorious Night" and "Rejoice"
Happy Birthday/away in a Manger
They sang one called "advent Carol but I didn't get a complete recording of it either service, there was also one called "Alleluia". This last one is my favorite called " He Shall Reign Forevermore." By Chris Tomlin. You should totally go download this song from itunes it's so good.
I took this shot when they were practicing for the 6pm service, I was trying to get my camera all set up and noticed Don (the worship leader) was joking around with them, so I snapped a few quick pics. It really fun to look at all the different happy laughing faces on this picture.
(I hope all these videos worked! Let me know if they dont!)
