February 2015

Amazing Sunrise I woke up to.

Pre-school, School decisions for next year, sewing classes, half marathon, potty training, work training, church, grandparents, weekend away, mops, potty accidents, projects, taxes, underwear flushed down the toilet, the gym, cold days, warm days, really really cold days, snowy days, tantrums, legos, play dates, quitting potty training, freezer meal club, ...

Our Valentines Day half Marathon!

All this and more was our February.  Will had a lot of training this month and was up in the day more that up working nights I think.  Now he should be back on a pretty normal night schedule for most of March, I think.  We managed to all stay healthy this month (something im very thankful for in winter).

We took the boys bowling for the first time ever.  Rex had a blast and Grant bowled 3 turns and was done.  Also I should mention Grants first ever bowl was a strike!

REX:

Rex has been busy at preschool this month with the letters R, S, T, and U this month.  This month he is very very into Boba Fett and his ship slave 1 and pretty much all of the Star Wars Bounty Hunters.  He had fun helping me make Yoda Valentines with lightsabers (glow sticks) for his classmates for their Sweetheart day celebration.  Rex and Grant got to have a sleep over at Grandma Cindy and Papa Rex's house they both had a lot of fun! (minus the 30 minutes Grant was having a massive tantrum for both Grandma and Grandpa)

Rex got to ride his bike all over the culti-sac one warm day!

Rex asked me how to spell Boba Fett and wrote it him self!

GRANT:

Grant has been in the trenches of the terrible two's this month.  We have had many many big huge tantrums.  They start about something little and then become about everything and at the same time nothing.  He was doing pretty well at his potty training but then it was starting to become something he was arguing about and I just didn't want one more thing to argue about so we took a break.  thankfully Will has been around for quite a few of them and it just helps to have another adult to keep you sane with a little person is acting so insane.  We love you Grant and know you will get through this stage and be better for it. We got Grant registered for 3 year old preschool 2 mornings a week next fall.  He's excited for it since pretty much his whole life he has been tagging along with me taking Rex the last 2 years.  Rex has been giving him some advice, "Like dont ride the bikes into the house in the gym."
Grant goes slow and steady on the balance bike

Started potty training but decided to try again in a month or two.
