All Catron Staycation 2014

Im not even sure where to start or how to recap our Staycation 2014.  How about They came, played, cried, ate, slept, and left.   Ok I will do better than that but seriously there was always so much going on its hard to kinda recap it.  It was just really really good to all be under the same roof for a few day and watch kids interact and talk to each other face to face.  I already know we are planning on making a shutterfly book to remember the week with that will have tons of pics but here is my quick blog highlights from the week:

Friday:  the Rowlands arrived in the evening, ready to get the party started

Saturday: Will and Beth ran the route 66 10K,  went to the train expo in town, McQuaids arrived by dinner

Sunday: Happy Fathers Day!  Church, Fathers Day Brunch with Grandma and Grandpa over, Stahrs
Arrived after lunch, Will and Beth left to play soccer, Homemade Ice cream night.

I dont really have any pics of Sunday but here is Gma Cindy reading a book, Im calling her "the little boy whisperer"

We had a Train room that all the kids enjoyed, but maybe no one more than Grant.  If we weren't sure where Grant was we would just check the train room.

Monday:  Bouncy House Day!

Grant was NOT into the bouncy house.  In fact it really bothered him all day.  He didn't want people going in it, sliding down it, or getting wet.!

Tuesday: The Magic House (Laura had a fever so Annie and Laura stayed home), scavenger hunt, Papa Rex & Uncle Aaron vs the kids water fight in evening.

Wednesday: Men went to shoot skeet, kids played at home, Lego Movie afternoon, treasure hunt

Thursday: Rowlands house to play in the a.m., family pictures in afternoon

Aaron and Will even installed a microwave while they were there.....too bad it broke 4 days later but that's another story

Friday: Big Breakfast, Ladies lunch out, Knights swing. BBQ with the Millers.
