Eight months had its up and downs but overall was another great month for Rexie. The lows included having a fever and a rash (perhaps Roseola we now realize) for a week, protesting to almost every diaper change for about 2 weeks, and the return of middle of the night nursing no thanks to Roseola. But the Highs included eating more new foods like apricots, peaches, broccoli, corn, mango, and juice and getting really proficient at feeding hisself puffs. Also the start of cruising on furniture, so far Rex just reaches for toys out of reach he hasn't realized that it can get him from point A to point B. Peak-a-boo is becoming a favorite game as well as Chase Mommy (where daddy and Rex chace me through-out the house). We also made a trip up to Chicago to visit the cousins. Rex is just becoming more vocal and interactive all the time. Here are some pics from the month:

yay! Rex is looking so big! He looks like he's crossed a mark from baby to pre-toddler...
WE had a bout with roseola this month too. THe fever was high- but the rash was wild!!
