Chicken Soup for the chicken soup lovers stomach!

I didn't really realize this blog was going to turn into some cooking/recipe blog but my pumpkin roll entry seemed to be enjoyed so I am sharing some more of my favorites. This recipe is also from my mom (my cooking hero), it was also featured at my recent Christmas Eve Rowland family dinner. (and I must apoligize for the lack of pictures on this one, I really thought I took more but only found 3 when I got ready to post this! Maybe I can update this next time I make it, there is still a lot of winter left after all.)

Comforting Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients:
2 qts water (I just fill a 2qt pitcher or its 64 ounces)
8 chichen bouillon cubes
6 1/2 Cups uncooked wide egg noodes
2 cans cream of chicken soup
3 Cups chopped, cooked chicken
1 Cup (8 oz) sour cream

Directions:
In a large saucepan bring water to a boil with bouillon cubes dissolved in it.  Add noodles, cook till tender (10 min).  Add cream of chicken soup, chicken, and heat.  Remove from heat, and stir in sour cream. Serve and enjoy!

I buy my chicken breast in bulk and then boil it and cut up the chicken but you can buy the pre-cooked and cut up chicken (which would make it even easier).  I find the noodles in walmart they actually aren't that hard to find.

I know this picture doesn't really look that great but you really should try it and you'll see!
