My Handy Work

Since I am just still getting started with my blog I am trying to come up with a new idea everyday to blog about. I was looking at old photos and thought I would put together all the photos of things I have crocheted. (or at least all of them I have a picture of). I haven't crocheted in a long time....I think I replaced it with long distance running as a hobbie but maybe when it gets cold again this winter I will pick it back up. Maybe these photos will help give me inspiration to start it up again.

this was a afghan I made for Sherry for Christmas:
This was a baby blanket for Alex:

Here is baby Hannah modeling the hat that went along with the Alex blanket. (I know I made a baby blanket for Hannah too but must not have a picture of it anywhere!)

this was a afghan I made for Amy for christmas. It was one of the harder ones I have done:

This was a ripple afghan I just liked the picture and the pattern was easy once you learned it you did it over and over again the biggest pain was you had to change yarn color a lot and that means lots of weaving in loose ends:

I know there are other Things I have crocheted out there....let see I have made 4 tree skirts (1-for mom 2- for Sally and Annie with made to order colors and then 1 for me just last year). I made an afghan for Kay. I also made baby boy blankets for Sawyer Morris and Charlie Krug. I even dabbled in using string and making snow flake ornaments. It wasn't to hard but it gave me a hand cramp for a couple days! I have created my fair share of scarfs and even a few hats...but no one seems to want to wear them? Yes this had made me want to get my crocheting bag out and look at my patterns and start on something new.
