April-in

Back at Christmas Grandma Cindy had accidentally purchase the wrong rope swing and just held on to it....well right before the quarantine (when we pretty much knew it was coming) during our "last" visit with them she pulled it out and gave it to the boys.  The boys and I carefully assessed the limbs in our yard and after a healthy debate landed on this one.  The boys are loving it!  And it has kinda made this area of the yard the new hang out.  Grant has a whole pirate ship area set up, and some days we set his hammock up too on the tree to the right of the swing.  The boys have spent hours out there.  

One morning they went out right after breakfast and played until 11....I just let school work wait that day!

This pic melts my heart and breaks my heart at the same time.  Rex and his best buddy Ezra's new way to stay in contact.  Every chance they both get a break from school work, the moms text each other and they meet up to visit and hang out. I'm really glad they can still see each other and interact.

heartbreaker!

Since we can't run to the store and buy canned biscuits all willy nilly any more, I tried Grandma Kay's home made biscuit recipe, they were pretty easy to whip up and really good!! 

(way better than canned biscuits!)

Guess that's all.  Were all doing fine.  We've only got about 2 weeks for school left at this point.  and it sounds like all of May will be in quarantine.....
