Yay! Fall is here and it is wonderful! We have had so many lovely 65-70 degree days. The boys have had lots of days off school this month, with a 4 day weekend on Columbus Day and then another 4 day weekend with Parent Teacher Conferences.
Did a little fall photo shoot with these two pals:
The neighbor up the street had a yard sale, Grant has really been wanting to have one and sell some of his old toys. So we set up a table. Unfortunately, there weren't a lot of people out and the ones that were out weren't very interested in kids stuff. Grant made a whopping $9. But we all had a enjoyable morning being outside and hanging out together.
We went to Lincoln, NE over Columbus Day to visit, Amy, Micheal, and Chloe!!
We all had a GREAT time at the Omaha Zoo, eating out at some new places, and just hanging out.
Bats!!
we got to feed giraffes
the boys have a new food they like....Mongolian Grill!
Miss Chloe hamming it up for me
The boys really liked getting to play with Grrrr.
back at home, Lucy and I have been able to get back into the woods and hike, now that the spider webs aren't so bad.
I fell down these stairs in the woods on my bottom.....that's all I want to say about that.
One night Lucy didn't come down to the basement with Will and I when we were watching TV....this is where I found her.....guess I can't blame her.
The boys enjoyed 2 trunk or treats this year. 1 at our Rec and the other in Greenville over our long weekend.
Rex had turned into quite the board game guy. We played Life, Gusher (an old game from the 60's? of Grandpa Rex's, and his new favorite Monopoly)
Boys being silly
Halloween was REALLY cold this year. (it snowed in the morning) Here are the boys pumpkins.
I got to help chaperone a field trip to Purina farms on the 30th. It was really cold and rainy. We were able to do some thing inside, luckily they arranged a special dog show inside for our group since we couldn't do the big outside one.
Whew! October seems like it got busier and fuller as it went buy. Turning the page over to November now, appears to be a calmer quieter month but we'll see about that.
