September 2019

Remember when I said how forward I was looking to Fall temps, and colors, and recipes, and decor.....yea so that didn't happen too much.  I think I got September mixed up with October.  It was hot, and humid, and the grass is still growing like crazy, and there are no leaves changing colors.  But September wasn't all bad here's my recap:

Grandma Kay and Grandpa Jerry came to visit!!  The boys had a 4 day weekend for Labor Day and we got to enjoy it with the Rowland Grands.

We took them to the Lincoln Museum.  They had never been and neither had the boys. 
We all really enjoyed it.

How many Rowland men does it take to put together a model plane?  

Grant read one of his favorite books to Grandma Kay, Owl Babies.

Grant has been loosing teeth! 3 teeth in 3 days!  and the 4th came out a few days later.

Will scoring some goals at Sunday Soccer: (he's the one in Yellow socks....scoring the goals)

Wow just a BEAUTIFUL sunset as I walked the dog around the Rec.

The boys got to have an over night camping trip with Grandma Cindy and Papa Rex at Carlyle Lake. They had a super fun time and are already asking Gma and Gpa when they can go again.

What isn't this how everyone gets settled down for bed?

I've found a new place to walk the dog some mornings.  It is a failed golf course turned nature preserve.  I don't know why but there is something kind of memorizing about the sun shining off this ugly moss covered green pond.  What do you think beautiful or gross?
