August is a funny month. When you think back on August it feels so split between summer memories, and back to school life life.
The first 12 days of the month we were still in full swing summer
While Lucy went to a Puppy Playtime all day the boys and I went to the Zoo. We had some really good Animal sightings during the day.
Grants teeth are dropping like flies. He has lost 3 teeth this month....

1ST AND 3RD GRADE!
Both Boys are thrilled with their teachers and are getting into the new routine pretty well. Even though they are old pros and this school thing by now, it has still been a transition period with tired spent boys at the end of the day. We are trying to have chill evenings at home with nice early bed times.
The boys being back to school means Mom can call me and ask me if I want to meet her for lunch in Edwardsville. I can jump in the car and be there 30 minutes later!

Pool Fun:
This may looks to you just like a random pile of assorted pool toys. But this "Pile" was a hour long story the boys had going that involved, Saving the world, Lab tests, explosions, a top secret mission, gas masks, boiled crocodiles, and a deadly black skink that could destroy the whole world!

Will and I got to go to a Cardinals game. I has been years since we had gone to a game. It was a fun night out.
