Picture a Day May. days 16-31.

May 16th: I know I know more Lucy, BUT hello Cuteness overload at the park!

May 17th:  The boys had a blast at their end of the year Field day!!......but no pictures. Sorry Grant had a make up soccer game though.  Here he is playing offense....and picking grass...

May 18th:  Grant had his end of the soccer season party.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he will play again next year....we will see. (Grant played human foosball)

May 19th:  Lots of rain and storms off and on this weekend.  We heard an especially loud BANG during one of them, then we found out later that evening the neighbors tree had been struck by lightening!

May 20th:  Grant finished up Kindergarten sunday school at Christ Church (see my 1st word celebration post for more on this) and I also taught for the last time in Kindergarten.  I have really enjoyed being in there.  I'm going to take a break for the summer and then we'll see I might try and work with the bigger kids upstairs.

May 21st:  Lucy's favorite naughty thing to do is crawl under the couch and chew and rip at the lining under there.  I swear I pull her out 30 times a day and tell her NO!.  Here I caught her...she's trying to play it cool and pretend nothing is happening.  Like what Mom nothing to see here just chewing on my puppy approved chew toys....

May 22nd:  The last day of school!!  Yeah! and AAAHHHHH!  (wow one of the better pictures I've gotten of the 2 of them in a long time!)

May 23rd: (aka-the first day of summer break)  We tried to plan some extra fun stuff for the first day. Donuts for Breakfast, A trip to Skyzone trampoline park, lunchables for lunch (😉), New minecraft skin packs and exploration worlds in the afternoon, and freeze tag in the back yard before bed.(we renamed it floss tag-if you got caught you had to do "the floss" the whole time your frozen...if you don't know what the floss is....you don't live with a 2nd grader or play Fortnite.  just google it)

May 24th: (aka-the 2nd day of summer). today's summer fun to do list.  Go to Slackers with the old school video game arcade.  I told Rex once upon a time this was the only way to play video games....😮

May 25th: I've been in Monday morning bible study/ now book club since lent.  It's also kinda like group therapy for all the Momma's.  To just talk about life, the good, the bad, the ugly.  It was fun to get to take the boys with me.(and Lucy too)  I didn't take a pic but really really cherish this group of ladies and true friends.  So since I didn't take a pic of that here's a pic of me and my bab...I mean puppy.

May 26th: The Annual PD crayfish boil has become a favorite tradition of all of us in the family.  The boys love that there is a bounce house that you can bounce on for as long as you want!, Will and I enjoy visiting with PD folk off duty (most of which I really don't interact any other time)  And we all like the food!  The boys and I quite enjoy the crayfish.  Will just enjoys some of the other Cajun fixings.

May 27th: Ezra turns 9 today!!  Ezra has been a best buddy to the boys (especially Rex) since the day they moved next door.  It's been so so good for the boys to have a next door best friend.  Sometimes I refer to him as my other son, he's over here so much.  Of course there are day when things don't go so well and I think maybe I had this coming a bit from my childhood days with a best friend neighbor and the good days and the DRAMA too.

May 28th: My yellow roses are in bloom

May 29th:  Our 14 year Anniversary!!  We even managed to squeeze in a late show movie of Avengers.

May 30th:  We are off (yep puppy too) to Kansas for our first trip of the summer.

May 31st:  Just a sneak peak of Kansas.....more to come soon.
