As soon as the boys were out of school we loaded up and headed to Kansas for a early Christmas weekend with the Rowland Clan.
Boys having fun with their new tablets at Grandma's
Grant and Dad got in some farming with Grandpa
Ahh Siblings...
We all got there just in time for Grandma Laura's 90th Birthday. She didn't say a lot but I think I think we all made her feel special and loved on her big day.
Grant and Sarah played together more than they ever have. (here they were playing doctor)
All the kids liked helping Chloe open her presents
Grant was pretty proud of his present pile up
Grant built his whole set with almost no help.
Sweet Miss Chloe
It was a snowy start to the day but we made it safe and sound.
We made it home with a few hours to spare before our amazing Christmas Eve service at church. (Ezra and Ms. Ruth came with us too.)
Christmas Morning!
We opened stocking and had a quick breakfast with Daddy then he headed to work and we headed to Greenville.
Rex and Titus haven't always played a lot together but they were almost inseparable this whole visit!
Grant and I made Donuts for everyone one morning. We made 30 donuts and only had 1 left....which gotten eaten later in the day. I think they liked them!!

Will was able to spend the last day with everyone and he made it in time for a yummy dinner out to a new favorite restuarant, The Wooden Tie
This was posed, but kinda fit the weekend.
The first week of Christmas break was SO busy. We went from Kansas to home to Greenville in a flash. But before we knew it we found ourselves back at home on Thursday afternoon with all our travels done and still another week till the boys had school again. We had lots of good time to open, build, and play with all our present. The bitter bitter cold days kept us inside all day long, a couple days got a little bit long but overall it was a great break and week at home.

I applaud the amount of glaze on those donuts!
