News Flash: REX WILLIAM ROWLAND IS 7!

Happy Birthday to my Rexie boy.
As I watch you grow year by year by make me so proud.

Rex had his first sleep over the night before his birthday.  They were up a bit later and then up a bit earlier than I would have liked but they had a great time.

Rex and Daddy worked on a Lego set, it helped pass the time till the party began.

Yes that's right we had our 1st official kid birthday party.  It was a Lego Themed party at our house.

We had Minifigure drawing, build your own Lego car and race it down the ramp, and Castle Building...and of course Cake and presents too.

We all had a great time!

Grant helped me make these signs for the party.

Rex got a big present from us, and all of his Grandparents this year....the new Nintendo Switch and Legend of Zelda game to go with it.  He (and all of us) have been enjoying it.  They are still very hard to get anywhere.  I heard some were going to be in stock at Toys R Us one Sunday early in April.  So the boys and I went and stood in line for 45 minutes outside the store to hopefully get one.  We were number 7 in line and were lucky enough to get one.  It was actually pretty fun standing in line with 2 little excited boys.  Rex said it was "the time of his life"  They ended up have 20-25 units come in stock that morning so we probably could have just showed up at 10 when they opened at got one (there were only abut 15 people in line) but I think it is a fun memory the 3 of will all share for a long time.
