Time to review some more meals I've been busy cooking up more NEW WILDTREE MEALS. Let's review what the Stars mean: I'm rating it on a 4 star rating system. 1-yuck never again. 2-OK but probably wont make again, 3-above average good eats, 4-delicious we all loved it and will definitely make again. And I've decided to add a 5 Star rating to ones that we just Loved and are new family favorites. Let me know what you think looks good, who knows next time you see me I might show up with it a freezer bag with your name on it.

Fajita Pulled Pork- 3 Stars. Boys ate it, Will and I enjoyed it on tortillas and on buns later. (it made A LOT!) |
| Southwest Chicken and Corn Chowder -1 star. Actually it wasn't really gross it was just blah. Very plain. It kinda made me wonder if I messed up the recipe back when I made it, like I left something out. ** ok review update to 3 stars. When I had it as left overs it had much more flavor, I think maybe I should have stirred it up some more before we had it the first time all the flavor was on the bottom. |
| Primavera Meat Lasagna. 3 Stars. We all ate it but if I have to compare it to the other Wildtree Lasagna I like the other one better. This did have a sauce that had lots of veggies mixed in it so its probably better for you. |
| Lasagna on the plate |
| Chicken and Tomato Garlic Cream Sauce (served over Linguine) 5 Stars. (the pic isn't very exciting but its so good!) Made this for Mom and Dad on Sunday. It was really nice to have it cooking in the crockpot while we were at church. All I had to so was boil up noodles and lunch was ready. We all really liked it a lot! |
| it was even better left over I think!! |
| Chicken Fajita Rice. 3 Stars. Made this with one of those pre-cooked rotisserie chickens everyone sells now. It was pretty easy and Everyone ate it and enjoyed it. |
| Flank Fajitas. 4 Stars. These were so easy just threw them in the crock pot and they were ready in about 4 hours. I made these on our busy Monday nights when we have to be at Upward Basketball practice by 5:30. It was a beautiful day and after school the boys and I swung by the park and ended up going on some trails and being there till 4:30. It was nice to breeze in the door and eat real quick before we left, then I left them on warm for Will when he got off work at 6. |
| lots of peppers in the fajitas! so sweet and juicy! |

| prepping for dinner |

| Asian Skillet Meal: 3/4 Stars. This is one of Wildtree's box Skillet meals, guaranteed to be ready in less than 30 mins, I've wanted to try it out for a while but the box had a spicy label so I was a little nervous about it. I finally made it this week and it was super easy, and very good. (and not all that spicy) The boys both ate small rice and chicken quantities (no peas!). We will be making this one again because the box comes with enough to make the meal 3 times. |
| Asian Java Pork Chops: 3 Stars This recipe uses the Asian Ginger dressing I LOVE as a marinade along with Wildtree's Java rub and honey. I just marinated these for like 3 hours then baked them in the oven. The boys liked "the chicken" (hey if they are eating it why correct them). Will and I liked it too but both voted we probably like the other pork chops I had made the week before (see adventures in wildtree post) a little bit better. I have basically never cooked with pork chops in our regular menu so its been good to add a little pork to our diet. |

| I just got this bundle in for the One Stop Crock Freezer Meal Workshop. I'm going to be assembling it all next week with a friend. I'll have 10 new recipes to review pretty soon! |
Also I don't have any pics (how could I let that happen! I was too nervous and busy I guess) of it but I went at did a presentation at the evening MOPs group at church. I had a power point presentation about meal planning and ways to make life easier at dinner time. They had also each pre-selected 1 freezer meal out of 4 choices that they got to assemble that night. They just had to bring their selected protein and I brought all the product (free of charge) (for them that is) to take home a ready made meal. I was a bit nervous but felt ready, when I got there I realized I knew every lady there (15 in all) from one thing or another at church so it was like talking to a bunch of friends. Several of them showed interested in doing a freezer meal workshop in the future and one bought some product from me that I had in stock. Even if nothing else comes from it I'm glad I was able to reconnect with all those ladies that I don't see very often and bless them each with a meal for their families.
