Christmas part 2

As we drove to Kansas on Tuesday we started seeing this white stuff out in the fields, and then more of it was in the ditches.  It was Snow, the first we'd seen for the winter.  Grant kept looking out the window periodically happily announcing 'MORE SNOW!'.  When we got to the farm it was all but melted and I was a little bummed the boys never got to play it it.  But surprise surprise when we woke up the next morning there was a fresh dusting of snow on the ground.  Grandpa Jerry took the boys on a fun sled ride through the fields after breakfast and lunch.  They LOVED it.

Grant went to feed with Grandpa every chance he got.  He and I went the first day, he and Will went the next day, and the last day he went all by his self with Grandpa (and Belle of course).

New Years day everyone arrived for what is becoming our traditional New Years family Christmas time.  Rex and Grant had lots of fun with Hannah and Haley and Sarah is getting in on the big kid fun too now.

It was really fun to have everyone together for the day but the Krous's headed home after dinner.  Then a rather spur of the moment trip to town with Amy, Michael, and Jason to watch Star Wars happened.  It was really fun to get to go with my siblings and then to get to go a 2nd time with his siblings (sorry Sherry maybe next time...episode 8 comes out May 2017).  Jason headed back to Kansas City after the movie.  It was fun to have Amy and Michael stay an extra day and hang out.

Now its just gotten Silly.

We had a wonderful time in Greenville and a Wonderful time in Emporia but after 2 weeks of traveling we were all ready to be home back in our own beds Sunday night.
