Hmmm I kinda feel like there isn't much to post in June besides all our vacations that got their own posts. I guess we were home more than we were away but I kinda felt like as soon as we got home from one thing we were doing laundry, planning, and preping for the the next thing.
Will and Beth:
I finished my Beachbody boot camp on the 11th. Overall I was very happy with the results. Many days I was sore or aching a bit from the workout the day before but I kept with it and knew I had 3 other ladies from my MOPs group doing the workouts too and we were all encouraging each other everyday. I ended up losing 8 pounds and I think I definitely strengthened my core, legs, and butt. I wrote down all of the workouts I did so I plan to continue to do some of them to keep toned and strong. I also had no soda for the entire month, and no snacks after 7pm (I think I did cheat twice while we were on vacation) I also really tried to eat healthy meals and healthy snacks for the whole 30 days. I tried some new recipes from my runners world cookbook that were all good. Im hoping all this will help me as I start to amp up my running these next few weeks for the Chicago half marathon coming up in July. However I have had a cold bugging me since we got home from Florida and I haven't had much energy for my long runs. Hoping I can get this bug kicked and get back too it.

We listed Will's motorcycle as soon as we got home from our Kansas Trip and had someone interested in just a couple of days. They came to see it and 2 days later bought it. That was easy!
The PD had their annual special Olympics torch run on the 8th. Where they run the length of town carrying the Olympic torch and hand it off to the next town all to raise awareness for the Special Olympics. Since we were just getting home from our Kansas City trip and Will was still on a day schedule he wanted to run it and asked me if I wanted to do it too? I said if I can push the boys in the jogging stroller sure. So Will checked and it was fine. So we all ran the 2.75 mile run from the police station down hwy 50 all the way to the Fairview/O'fallon border at the Dandy Inn. It was cool because when you are running with the police you can run when you want where you want. So we had 2 squad cars lead to stop traffic at intersections and a big SWAT vehicle behind us. Unfortunately we got rained on pretty much the entire run, but our jogger is pretty waterproof so the boys were nice and dry inside. Will and I took turns pushing the boys and the pace was slow so everyone could stick together.
