YAY! Baby Grant is crawling. He has been working very hard on crawling all month but I knew it was inevitable this week. He was army crawling and moving his arms just having trouble getting both of his legs to follow for a couple days then on Thursday he did it!( Dec 27). He and Rex were both downstairs in the basement playing in the morning and I thought maybe I saw him take one good crawl to reach towards Rex's Mega Blocks Mac Truck but I wasn't completely sure he had crawled. I didn't have to much time to think about it because big brother was very concerned that little brother had a hold of his Mac Truck and was breaking it apart. Oh the drama! Then later that day while I was putting Rex down for a nap Will and Grant were playing in Grants room and Will saw Grant take a couple of crawls to reach a bag of dirty diapers that made cool crinkly sounds when you move it and also to get his monitor cord! Then later that afternoon I was sure Grant was crawling when I caught some of it on video. So here it is Grants first day of crawling:
Although my job just got a little harder im very happy that he has achieved another big milestone. Time to pull out the baby gates and put up the foam corner protectors. Grant is already pulling up to things on his knees, it wont be long and he will be on his feet, then cruising, then walking! Yikes my baby is growing up way to fast!
