| They say there is a baby in here somewhere, this was my 9 week ultrasound so the baby was about the size of a grape! |
Just a quick update on baby Rowland. Things have been going really well since my last baby post. The first trimester is definately over because I haven't been feeling sick any more at all. About the only complaint I have is that I have been getting headaches, but I did with Rex too so its nothing new. The biggest update is that I have started to feel the baby move! It was actually on Monday night the official first day of 17 weeks, Will and I were in the basement watching the Cardinals in game 4 of the World Series and I thought maybe I felt a baby kick, and then maybe another, and then definately another! I have been thinking for about a week and a half maybe I have been feeling baby movements but I wasn't sure, but that night I just kept feeling them and then I was sure that was what they were. I have been feeling little kicks pretty regularly now ever since. I had forgotten what it is like to feel all the movement all the time. Right now I am really enjoying it and thankful for each time I am reminded of the amazing miracle that is growing in my stomach. Also we have gotten to hear the heart beat 2 times. Will was able to be with me at my 12 week appointment when we heard it for the first time. The Dr. said it sounded really strong and healthy. I was instantly proud of the baby and wanted to brag to everyone that my baby had a strong heart beat. Then I heard it last week at my 16 week appointment and he said it sounded perfect. What more could a Mother ask for! I am really excited for our next appointment on November 21st. This will be my 20 week (although it will actually be 21 weeks) ultrasound, and yes we should find out if its a boy or a girl. I have to admit lately I have kinda been thinking it might be a boy because so many of my pregnancy symptoms have been reminding me of last time, but well just have to wait a little longer to find out for sure maybe this baby will suprise us all.
