This being Rex's first Halloween I was really excited to dress him up. But in what? I was trying to be kind of sensible about the whole Halloween thing for a 6 month old and not spend very much money on a costume that I know he will only wear once. There is a consignment store in town that had halloween costumes but they wanted $10 and I thought that was still to much. So I have been looking at yard sales all summer and just about 2 weekends ago I found a really cute turtle costume that was Rex's size for $3. So I got it! Then last weekend I went to the Thrift store in town and I found a police outfit that was exactly Rex's size for $2!!! I was totally happy with the turtle outfit but I just couldn't pass up Rex being a policeman for his first Halloween. So I went ahead and took pictures of him in the turtle outfit but I passed it along to cousin Gavin (not sure if it will fit him). So here are pictures of Rex in both of his Halloween costumes!

This is all way too cute Beth!! And I'm jealous of the long sleeping nights! Sadie decided at 7 months that she wants to wake up again every night!! UGH!! Rex is such a cutie pie!
