Just thought I'd start the month of with some Edgar Allen Poe quoting.
But Seriously our December was far from bleak, it was busy and fun and full.
We taught the boys how to play Mexican Train. They both caught on really quick and really liked it.

Rex had a Sleepover with Ezra and I surprised them with the holiday themed Krispy Kreme Dozen. Their faces were worth every penny.
Grant and I have been having fun in the woods with it all cleared out of leaves. (and spiders) Grant was scoping out good hide and seek places.

It started snowing on Sunday night....
by Monday morning this is what it looked like
By Monday night we had 6-7 inches of snow! we ended up with 2 snow days and LOT of playing out in the snow.
We had some fun feeding the animals at the petting zoo at the Way of Lights
Lucy and I used some of our morning walks to hunt down some hidden trees with bows for a Parks and Rec Jingle Hike contest. Every tree you took a picture of and guessed the right type of tree (using the clues they gave you) you get entered to win a goodie bag. (If your dog is in the picture they get entered for a doggie prize).
CHRISTMAS 2019
Family Christmas:
Next we kicked off Catron Christmas with everyone coming over and swimming and climbing at our new REC center
We made Grandma Kay's homemade donut recipe for everyone....it was a hit!
The kids! They are all getting so big! Ages 13-5 now.
Mom made her Famous Egg Rolls for Christmas dinner.....they were DELICIOUS!!!
Next we got on the road and headed to Kansas for Christmas Celebration #3
Lucy got to come along....she was a very good puppy

New Years Eve, It was just me and the boys. We stayed up till Midnight by watching Harry Potter Movies. (and Grant made it this year.....barely)
