April!!

Yeah it's April and officially starting to feel like spring!

Of course we brought in April with a Birthday for Grant!  #7 already! Wow!  We didn't do a big kid party this year.  But Grant enjoyed a Beanie Boo themed family party, over the weekend, home made donuts and presents on his bday, and a play date with a good school friend on Friday.  I'd say he did ok!

Papa refurbished an old desk for Grant to have in his room.  He's excited to have his own work space.....and so are his animals

Grant started up his 2nd year of Upward Soccer this spring.  He likes getting to take turns playing goalie this year.

Uncle Jason came to visit!  

Remind me why did I buy the boys fish tanks for Christmas????

The Rec in town has opened.....well to be fair it owns May 6th which isn't technically covered in this post....to let's try that again.....The Rec will open very soon and we got to go to a preview night for City Employees.  The boys love the Clip n' Climb area and of course the pool.  

Grant is about half way up straight ahead.

 Rex is quite the climber we found out.  He made it to the top of all 6?  of the walls the very first day. 

Were not really supposed to take pictures down at the pool....I will have to try and get some from the above viewing window some time.  It really is like a dream come true pool 2 blocks from our house!!

 Rex is 9!! Wow (again)

Rex had a sleep over with his best buddy Ezra over the weekend where they tried to do a 24 hours in his room challenge.... I think they might have done 10-12?  ;)  (Grant was also doing his own 24 hours of the floor is lava challenge).  Then we had a family party on his big day.

When your watching the 9 o'clock news and your husband is on the news!

Rex lost 2 more teeth on top this month....which has left a huge!!! 4 tooth whole on top.  I doesn't seem to bother him too much though.
