April Shower bring May Puppies!...or something like that

April started off cold with sleet, snow, and rain, but we are finally warming up (slowly) and definitely greening up!  Which does my soul a lot of good.  Besides the first 3 days of the month being spring break the boys have had a very full month of school ( in fact no breaks until summer now) and they are starting to ask more often how long till summer.  And by the time I post this I really wont be long at all.

The boys have had a pretty fun month celebrating Birthday's from beginning to end.  Grant got to enjoy his during all of our spring break fun.  The boys had a joint birthday friend party in the middle of the month, and Rex had a sleep over with Ezra for his Birthday!

You can see above Rex got a big boy bike for his birthday and has been willing and wanting to work with Dad ( not so much Mom) on getting better at riding. It's just a tad big right now but once he can get the hang of it and some confidence built up it should last him a long time.

Howdy Partner.

The boys and I stayed busy by visiting lots of parks in the area after school while Daddy was gone to his 2nd week (of 4) of Active Threat Master Instructor Training in Springfield, IL.

Grant's finally been able to get a few Soccer games in.  He's only had 3 games but I think he is getting the hang of it and starting to get in on some action.

When Will got home from training he parked his car in front of the house while he unloaded.  Grant grabbed his Police Car and put it out there as soon as he saw it.

Rex and I got to attend the County Wide Young Author's Conference.  It was a fun morning for all the kids.  (this is the k-3rd grade group, there were more than this but it was at the end I think a lot had already left)

 More sweet Park boys.

Look out May here we come!
