Will and Beth:
The first weekend of the month I had the opportunity to go and take a Conceal Carry Firearms class. Will was off so he could watch the boys all weekend (the class was 8-5 Saturday and Sunday) and it was being offered for 1/2 price to Police Wives'. I passed the class and have submitted my application to the state. We don't currently own any guns that would be suitable for me to conceal so I'm hoping Santa brings me a new Glock 19.
Rex came running to get me on the other side of the playground and said Mom you have to come see Grant. I was kinda worried something was wrong with him I rushed over and he was proudly showing me how he too can now reach the top rope!
THANKSGIVING:
We had a great visit over Thankgiving from Grandma Kay and Grandpa Jerry and Surprise Uncle Jason came too!
They called us on the way Wednesday and asked if we wanted to meet them at the Rt 66 museum in St. Louis, it turned out it was actually the Missouri History Museum with a Rt 66 exhibit. We made the quick trip across the river and had a fun time checking it all out.

I was the only girl coming home for Thanksgiving this year. I was kind of unique to get home both of our parents and us together for the day. The boys liked have a double dose of Grandparents

| Rex has been pestering my Dad for a while to help him make "armor". After our Thanksgiving meal Papa Rex and Grandpa Jerry took the boys to the shop and made them some amazing suits of armor! |

Rex:
Rex has been enjoying a parks and rec class called Basketball Skills and Drills on Wednesday nights all month long. He still says basketball is his favorite sport and we already have him enrolled for Upward in 2017. It has been a good little bball refresher for him.

Grant:
Sometimes I feel bad for little brother Grant. He gets dragged along to Rex's choir practice, and bball practice, school pick up and drop off most days, but he really is a good sport about it all. (I guess he doesn't really know otherwise). I't wont be long and it will be his turn to be doing some of that stuff too.
Grant has been kind of a moody man this month. I was venting to mom about it and she said sounds like he's frustrated, you know they call it the frustrating 4's. And It was kinda like a light bulb went on, duh yes he is smack dab in the middle of the frustrating 4's, and for the most part he's been pretty happy go lucky, but I think it caught up with him. Back talking, moody in the afternoon, super cry-ie, not wanting to go to preschool, crying at preschool, time-outs, it's been a month. But realizing that he is still 4 has helped me have a little perspective when we're in the trenches of it all.
Quotes:
Rex: "So Mom why did you even go to college, you don't do anything now anyway?"
I explained to him that I did actually used to be an accountant and worked for 6 years before I had kids, but maybe he was right maybe I should start looking for a job again.....he quickly realized the error of his ways and said I can't go back to work because I have to stay at home and take care of him and Grant.
Grant at 3 in the morning. "Mom my cup has ZERO water in it! Can you fill it up"
me to Grant, "calm down" Grant: "I cant because I'm already all calmed up!"
November seemed like it went by really quick. We are all excited for December and all the fun that goes along with it.
