March-ing on

Lets see it may take me a minute to think of something nice to say about March.  We did have some good times and fun im sure but we also experienced a lot of sickness and colds and cold weather.
a trip to the Zoo on a nice day with the boys
Will and Beth:
Will kept up his marathon training all month long and logged 15 and 20 mile runs.  Wills birthday was also at the end of the month.  I always take a picture of him with his annual snickers cake, and I forgot this year!  Opps.  I have spent a lot of time taking boys to drs appointments, administering medicine, and wiping noses. I ampted up my running to this month and got in a 6 mile run before I got sick.  Im hoping to run a half marathon in May if I can get healthy and get all my training runs in.  I also finally spend my Christmas money and got a KitchenAid stand mixer and a GPS running watch.  I have been enjoying both of them.

Rex:

Rex has still been having a lot of emotional up and down days lately.  Were trying to love him through this phase and hope that it is just that a phase.  Rex has also been helping me cook some this month as you will see in the pictures.  Otherwise its  mostly just business as usual with lots of legos, and super hero playing going on.  I didn't think Rex was going to get sick with Grant and I but in the end he too got sick and ended up with an ear infection and pneumonia and his first antibiotic prescription (so far he isn't allergic to amoxicillin thats a plus!)  Rex got to have an overnight sleep over all by himself at Grandma Cindy and Papa Rex's.  He was very excited to be going solo without Mommy.  One day this month Rex's agenda for the day was, 1-to have Golden Grahams for breakfast, 2- to get dressed in his Superman shirt, (those were both easy enough to accomplish) and 3- to make and AT-AT so we could go out in the woods and scare 5 squirrels and shoot at them! (well we didnt quite get the AT-AT built but we did go in the woods and the squirrels were mighty scared I think.)

 Grant:

This month marked Grants last month as a 1 year old.  Grant was the first of us to get sick.  It started as a cold then turned into a double ear infection.  During all that Grant also got 2 of his 2 year old molars in! (only 2 more to go and were done with teething!).  Grant has been REALLY REALLY into cars this month.  He spends most of his play time driving them around a track and having them talk to each other.  Rex had fun with cars some but he was never quiet as obsessed as Grant is with them.  Grant is also sitting and listening to longer books.  His attention span has definitely grown this month.
