After our 10K race...we were very cold!
Now that its December and Christmas madness is upon us I feel like I hardly remember what happened in November. Lets see?
Kay gave me a few pointers on her rolls while she was here and I made my best pan yet for Thanksgiving!
Will and Beth: Will and I ran in a 10K race together at the very beginning of the month. This was the first race we have been able to run together for a long time. It was a chilly windy morning but we both had good runs. We probably wont do any more events till spring now. Now that the cold is here we are both trying to get a few runs in a week but we are definitely doing less mileage. Hopefully we can stay in shape just enough to be able to start doing to races in the spring again....Will is talking Marathon....im not! We also fininshed up our soccer session and finished about middle of the road in the league. I have enjoyed the indoor games and I can tell it is really starting to help me have faster mile split times. (ive been in the 8:30s lately!). So another session has already started up and we are playing again. Will is always scoring goals but I have even been sneaking a few in. I think this will be a great way to help me stay in shape through the long cold winter months.
We took Grandma and Grandpa up into the Arch. They had never been.
Probably our most noteworthy events from the month was two family visits from Kansas! Grandma Kay and Grandpa Jerry came for Veterans Day weekend and then at the end of the month we got to see Aunt Sherry, Uncle Scott, Hannah, Haley, and baby Sarah for a fun morning of playing, visiting, and watching Will play in a PD flag football game. Grant made fast friends with Papa Jerry and followed him around like his little shadow most of the time. Rex and Grandma read lots of Amelia Bedelia. Rex especially had a blast with his cousins Hannah and Haley they had quite the epic lightsaber dual going on! (opps I didn't even take any pictures!)

Rex: Rex has been SOOO SOO busy this month playing! He and I have been busy during Grants nap times building my old lego sets. Mostly I build and he plays but he helps sometimes. Ive really enjoyed building them and I have LOVED watching him have so much fun playing with them. Grant really wants in on the lego fun to so with supervision he gets to have some fun too.

Grant: Has had a MUCH happier month compared to last month! The last couple weeks he has started sleeping better at night and is letting Mommy sleep in till at least 6:30 most day. He is still just exploding with words and phrases daily. He can now say phrases like "Night-Night Rexie", "I want drink", "I dont want it", "I want down", "help me" and "tractor tractor...Wheat" (his favorite song) also "clean up clean up" from the clean up song. Some favorite words are Lego, Saber (for light saber), yoda, fight, be back, neat, dump truck, play, crying, kick, stuck, show, Elmo, pizza, and the list grows daily.
