Rowland Family Wedding

For our first family vacation as a family of 4 we loaded up the van and headed west.  Our first stop was Grandma and Grandpas house and some fun on the farm.  Our first morning there Rex was out on the tractor with Papa bailing hay.  Then we loaded up and head to McPherson.  We had a good visit with Great Grandma Nell and got to introduce her to Grant...who happens to be 104 years younger than her!

Then we headed over to Neva's house for a little get together with my best college buddies.  Here is a picture of Will wrangling all the kids.

Then we were back in Emporia for a a day of rest and relaxation...and driving all over town to see old friends and co-workers.  Here Rex is in little boy farm implement heaven.

Then for the main event.  We headed to Lincoln Nebraska over the weekend for Aunt Amy's wedding!

I would like to caption this photo:  Poor Amy still stuck at the kids table

Rex had a lot of fun with his cousins Hailey and Hannah at the wedding.  There were penguins at all the tables as decorations, I think these 3 may have ended up with just about all of them!

Hannah and Haley entertained Rex at the rehearsal dinner.

This was my view for most of the trip.  In the back seat keeping the troops happy. This was our first big trip in our van and it was great!  There was plenty of room for all of us and our stuff.  All in all it was a great trip. Like any good vacation once we got home we were more tired and exhausted than before we left but it was all worth it.  Im looking forward to many more fun adventures as a family of four in our future.
