Rowland Ramblings

If you follow my blog at all you will notice the new name and new design.  That is because it is time for yet another progression of my blog.  It started out as a way for me to share pictures and stories about things Will and I were into and doing.  (running events, house projects, recipes, target practice, Amelia, etc.).  Then it became a place to talk about my pregnancy and then to share pictures and stories about Rex.  While I still intend to share things about what Will and I are doing, and of course Rex and maybe Amelia, there is now going to be another little Rowland to blog about.  Thats right number 2 is on the way!

We are super excited to have number 2 joining us around April 2, 2012.  This pregnacy has already been different from my first, this time I experienced many more of the common 1st trimester symptoms that I was so lucky to avoid last time.  While I didn't love feeling quesy from time to time and tired and stuffy nosed I think it is good for me to realize that this baby is probably going to be nothing like Rex and it is just letting me know that it is its own person.  Im sure I will want to use all the same techniques that worked on Rex on #2 and I need to prepare myself that they may not all work the same way.  There is quite a debate at our household currently as to whether #2 is a boy or a girl.  I think Girl, and Will thinks its boy #2.  Both of us are completely fine with a boy or a girl it is just fun to imagine right now, but as soon as we can find out we will!  We are already kinda worried that Rex is going to be quite a bossy big brother, considering his favorite thing to say is "no, no, no!"  Maybe he will have grown out of it by the time he is 2 but something still tells me that #2 isn't going to get away with much without "Mr. No, No, No" telling us about it.  But honestly we think he will be a great big brother and hopefully we can prepare him for the change that is coming little by little as we prepare ourselves.

My first Trimester has really flown by as im now 13 weeks pregnant.  Last time I felt like I had to wait forever to start seeing signs of a little baby in my belly but this time I already have a small baby bump forming.  I like looking down and having that small reminder during the day of the little life that if forming inside.  I have also already gotten out all of my fall/winter maternity clothes and am excited to start wearing them.  If not before I'll be sure to post an update when we find out if its a girl or a boy and maybe some baby bump photos.
