I entitled this post "This is a really fun age," because it seems like the more moms I am around and the more I am a mom myself I realize that everyone is always saying this about their kids, no matter what age they are. I say it about my 5 month old, my sister says it about her 2 and 4 year olds, my parents say it about their 28 and 30 year old daughters who bring grandkids home. So while I really do believe that 5 months is a really fun age, I know there is still lots of fun ahead of me!
This month Rex got to hang out with his cousins, Alex (4), Eli (2), and Gavin (5.5 months) for a whole week! Then he made his monthly trip out to Kansas to check on the house and visit Grandma and Grandpa Rowland. He also got to attend Central's Homecoming and watch daddy play in an alumni soccer game. Also this month Rex has finally mastered rolling over both ways, he began sucking his thumb, and I saved the best for last, sleeping through the night! He has been sleeping 11+ hours at night regularly!
